Hey, guys! Today I’m gonna share how I created a score table step by step. It was quite an adventure, but I made it in the end.

First off, I decided what kind of score table I needed. I was working on a little game project with my friends, so I wanted a simple table to record our scores. I opened up a spreadsheet software. I’m not fancy, so I just used the one that came with my computer.

Then, I started to plan the layout. I drew a rough sketch on a piece of paper, thinking about how many columns and rows I’d need. For our game, I figured I’d need columns for the player names, the scores for each round, and a total score column. So, I typed in the column headers in the first row of the spreadsheet: “Player Name”, “Round 1 Score”, “Round 2 Score”, and so on.

After that, I began to format the table. I changed the font size and style to make it look nicer. I also added some borders around the cells to make it easier to read. I played around with the column widths until everything fit nicely.

Next, it was time to input the data. I asked my friends for their names and scores for each round, and I typed them into the corresponding cells. As I entered the scores, I noticed that I needed to calculate the total scores for each player. So, I used the built – in sum function in the spreadsheet. I clicked on the cell where I wanted the total score to appear, typed in the formula, and hit enter. Voila! The total score showed up.

Once all the data was in and the totals were calculated, I checked everything for errors. I compared the scores I’d entered with what my friends had told me, and I double – checked the calculations. I found a couple of typos and fixed them right away.

Finally, I saved the score table. I gave it a cool name related to our game, and I chose a location on my computer to save it. And that’s how I created a score table! It was a fun little project, and now we can easily keep track of our scores in our game.
