Well, let me tell you about my trip to Estonia. I decided to go there because I’m a big fan of culture and history, and I heard Estonia has a lot to offer.

First off, I booked my flight. It was a bit of a hassle to find a good deal, but I finally managed to snag one. Then I packed my bags, threw in my camera and some comfy shoes, and off I went.

When I landed in Estonia, I took a taxi to my hotel. The driver was chatty, telling me all sorts of local stories on the way. Once I checked in, I dropped my stuff off and headed straight out to explore.

My first stop was Tallinn Old Town. Oh man, it was like stepping into a fairytale. The cobblestone streets, the medieval buildings with their colorful facades, it was just amazing. I walked around, taking pictures left and right. I popped into a few souvenir shops, bought some cool magnets and postcards. And there were these street performers too, playing music and doing magic tricks. I even gave one of them a little tip because he was so good.

Next, I went to the Estonian History Museum. I’m not usually a huge museum guy, but this one was really interesting. There were all these artifacts from different periods of Estonian history, like old weapons, clothing, and tools. I spent hours there, reading all the displays and learning about how the Estonians lived in the past. One of the experts there told me some really cool facts about the Viking influence in Estonia, which I never knew before.

After the museum, I was starving. So I found a local pub and had some traditional Estonian food. I tried this thing called kama, which is a kind of cereal mixture, and it was actually pretty good. I also had some local beer, which was strong but delicious.

On the second day, I took a day – trip to Tartu. I hopped on a bus and it was a nice, scenic ride through the Estonian countryside. In Tartu, I visited the University of Tartu. It’s one of the oldest universities in Northern Europe. The campus was beautiful, with big, old buildings and a nice park in the middle. I walked around, saw the students studying and chatting, and it made me feel a bit nostalgic for my college days.

I also went to the Tartu Cathedral. It’s a huge, imposing building. I climbed up to the top of the tower, and the view of the city was just breathtaking. I could see for miles, all the rooftops and the green areas around the city.

As my trip was coming to an end, I went back to Tallinn and just wandered around the Old Town one more time. I sat in a coffee shop, sipping on a latte and people – watching. It was so relaxing.

Finally, I packed my bags again, took a taxi to the airport, and flew back home. This trip to Estonia was an amazing experience. I got to see so many cool places, learn a lot about Estonian culture, and make some great memories. If you’re a culture enthusiast like me, I’d definitely recommend Estonia as a must – visit destination!
