I’ve always been into Fantasy Premier League (FPL), and I’ve heard a lot about these FPL price change predictors. I was super curious to find out if they’re actually accurate. So, I decided to put them to the test myself.

First, I collected a bunch of these FPL price change predictors. There were so many out there, some free and some you had to pay for. I picked a few that seemed to have good reviews and a decent following.
Then, I started tracking the predictions. I made a spreadsheet to record what each predictor said about player price changes. I followed the Premier League matches closely, watching how the players performed. Every week, I compared the actual price changes with what the predictors had said.
As the weeks went by, I noticed some interesting things. Some predictors were spot – on for a few players. For example, one predictor said that a certain striker would have a price increase, and sure enough, after a couple of great goal – scoring performances, his price went up. But then, there were other times when the predictions were way off. A midfielder was predicted to have a big price jump, but he had a few poor games, and his price stayed the same or even dropped.
I also talked to some other FPL enthusiasts. We shared our experiences with these predictors. Some of them had similar stories – some hits and some misses. I even reached out to a few experts in the FPL community. They told me that while these predictors use a lot of data, there are so many variables in football that it’s impossible to be 100% accurate.
After a few months of this practice, I concluded that FPL price change predictors can be helpful to some extent. They can give you an idea of which players might be on the rise or fall. But they’re not foolproof. You still need to keep an eye on the actual matches, the players’ form, and other factors like injuries and suspensions.

So, if you’re thinking of relying solely on these predictors for your FPL team management, think again. They’re just one tool in the FPL toolbox, and you should use them along with your own knowledge and judgment.
