So I wanted to see where Chelsea and Fulham landed after that weekend match, ya know? Grabbed my laptop first thing this morning, fired up the browser. Typed “premier league standings” into the search bar, hit enter. Saw a bunch of sports sites pop up, clicked the first one that looked legit.
Got hit with those annoying cookie pop-ups right away. Clicked “Accept All” just to get through faster – I know, I know. Scrolled down the homepage looking for that league table. Took me a minute cause they had big ads flashing everywhere. Finally spotted the “Premier League” header near the top.
Started scanning that table from the top down. Man City at number one obviously, Arsenal right below them. Kept scrolling, past Liverpool, past Aston Villa… Then boom, there was Chelsea sitting around 10th place. Point total seemed kinda low for them, honestly disappointing.
Scrolled further looking for Fulham. Found them chilling in 13th, couple points behind Chelsea. Not great but honestly about what I expected for them this season. Checked the “Form” column too – Fulham had more recent wins but Chelsea somehow drew against City last week? Weird.
Double-checked both teams’ last five results real quick. Yep, Chelsea with those frustrating draws, Fulham getting some surprise wins against lower teams. Closed the laptop feeling kinda “meh”. Neither squad seems to find consistency these days. Maybe Thursday’s match will shake things up.
