Well, I’ve always been into Fantasy Premier League (FPL). I started off by just randomly picking players I knew from big clubs. It was like a shot in the dark, you know? I’d look at the big names and think, “Oh, they must be good!” So, I’d go ahead and add them to my team without really thinking much.

But then, I realized that wasn’t working. My team was doing so-so at best. So, I decided to do some research. I started reading what the experts had to say. They talked about things like player form, fixture difficulty, and team tactics. I was like, “Whoa, there’s more to this than I thought!”
I began checking the stats of different players. I’d look at how many goals they’d scored, how many assists they’d made, and how often they were getting points. It was a real eye – opener. I found out that some players from smaller clubs were actually performing better than some big – name stars.
Next, I started paying attention to the fixtures. I’d look at which teams my potential players were going to face in the upcoming weeks. If a player had a few easy fixtures coming up, I’d be more likely to pick them. For example, if a team was playing against a struggling side, their attackers were more likely to score and get me points.
I also tried to balance my team. I didn’t just go all – in on attackers. I made sure I had a good mix of defenders, midfielders, and goalkeepers. I remembered that defenders could get points from clean sheets and even goals, and goalkeepers were crucial for keeping those clean sheets.
As I kept making these changes to my team, I noticed a big difference. My scores started to go up. I was actually competing with some of the top players in my leagues. It was so exciting!

Finally, I learned to be flexible. The FPL season is long, and things change all the time. A player who was in great form at the start of the season might lose their touch, or a new player might emerge as a star. So, I’d regularly check the news and make transfers when necessary.
Through all this, I’ve realized that making the best FPL team isn’t just about picking the most well – known players. It’s about doing your research, being smart with your selections, and being willing to adapt. And let me tell you, it’s a whole lot of fun!
