Deciding to Grab Leeds Tickets
So I’ve been buzzing for Leeds United’s new season and figured I’d better sort tickets early. First thing I did? Grabbed my phone and tapped straight into the official Leeds United site’s ticket section. Scrolled through the fixtures list, eyeing them home games against some top clubs.

Sticker Shock at First Glance
Man, the prices hit me right away! Saw this category called “Platinum Games” where even nosebleed seats were going for nearly 50 quid. Made me choke on my tea a bit. Dug deeper though – found out they split matches into three types:
- Category C games: Cheapest at around 30 smackers
- Category B: Middleground near 40
- Category A: Bloody expensive at 50+
Hunting for Deals Like a Bloodhound
Wouldn’t be me if I didn’t sniff out bargains, right? Checked if booking multiple games gave discounts – nada. Then remembered last season’s membership perks. Signed into my account and boom! Members got first dibs and about 5 quid off each ticket versus general sale prices. Also noticed midweek games were cheaper than weekend kickoffs.
Almost panicked when I saw the Leeds vs Man Utd tickets were vanishing like chips at a pub. Selected three seats together for the Everton match instead – decent Category B pricing at 37 each for members.

Went to pay feeling proper chuffed… until that booking fee slapped me! Extra 2.50 per ticket sneaked in there. Delivery options were a joke too – physical post cost extra versus free mobile tickets. No brainer picking the free digital ones.
Mission Accomplished (Sort Of)
Finally hit confirm after triple-checking dates. Got them confirmation emails straight away – felt mega relieved! Still reckon the whole pricing setup feels messy though. Why’s there no loyalty discount for booking three matches together? And them booking fees are daylight robbery. Next time I’m setting a reminder for early bird sales – heard season ticket holders get proper deals.
