Alright, so I’m back at it with another project – “around the block 2.” Let’s dive into how this whole thing went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I dusted off my old code from the first “around the block” project. I wanted a refresher, you know? See where I left off, what worked, what didn’t. It’s always good to look back before you leap forward.

Planning Stage (Kind Of)
Okay, I’m not gonna lie, I’m not a huge planner. I’m more of a “jump in and figure it out” kind of guy. But I did jot down a few basic ideas. I wanted to:
- Improve the overall flow. The first version felt a bit clunky.
- Add some new features. Gotta keep things fresh, right?
- Clean up the code. It was a mess. Seriously.
Coding Frenzy
Then, the coding began. I spent days, nights, weekends, just hacking away. I tried different approaches, some worked, some… not so much. There were times I wanted to throw my computer out the window, but I kept pushing.
I tested everything out, which helps to see results. I also tried to test out the old code, just to check, but some places were error-free. I decided to keep trying.
Debugging Nightmares
Bugs. So many bugs. It felt like for every line of code I wrote, two bugs popped up. Spent hours just squashing those little buggers. I had to ask some friends that were more experienced than I to take a look at what I had, which helped a lot.
Finally, It Works!
But finally, after all the sweat and tears (and maybe a few curse words), it’s done! It’s not perfect, but it’s working. I managed to improve the flow, add those new features, and even clean up most of the code.
Reflection
Looking back, it was a rollercoaster. Frustrating at times, but ultimately rewarding. I learned a lot, and that’s what really matters. I will continue to test out the application and see if there is anything that I could improve upon.
So, that’s the story of “around the block 2.” Hope you enjoyed the ride! Now, time to start thinking about “around the block 3″… just kidding (maybe).
