Well, 58 days ago, I decided to start a new fitness challenge. I was feeling kinda lazy and out of shape, so I thought it’d be a good idea to push myself a bit.

First off, I bought a new pair of running shoes. I mean, you can’t start running without proper shoes, right? Then I planned out my running route. It was a 3 – mile loop around my neighborhood.
On the first day, I strapped on those new shoes, put on my workout clothes, and headed out the door. Man, it was tough! I could barely run half a mile without getting out of breath. But I forced myself to keep going. I walked when I had to, but I kept moving forward.
Over the next few days, I stuck to my running schedule. Every morning, rain or shine, I laced up my shoes and hit the road. Slowly but surely, I started to see some changes. I could run a bit farther each day, and I didn’t get as tired as quickly.
I also changed my diet a bit. I cut out a lot of junk food and started eating more fruits and vegetables. I drank more water too. It wasn’t easy, especially when my friends were eating pizza and burgers, but I stayed focused on my goal.
After about 2 weeks, I noticed that my clothes were fitting a bit looser. I felt more energetic throughout the day, and I slept better at night. I was really starting to see the benefits of this fitness challenge.

As the days went by, I increased the intensity of my workouts. I added some strength training exercises, like push – ups and sit – ups, to my routine. I used some dumbbells I had lying around the house. It was hard work, but I pushed through the pain.
Now, 58 days later, I can run the entire 3 – mile loop without stopping. I’ve lost a few pounds, and I feel great. My friends have even noticed the changes in me. They’re asking me for tips on how to get fit!
So, that’s my story of what happened in the past 58 days. It wasn’t easy, but it was totally worth it. If I can do it, anyone can!
