At the start of 2025, I was super eager to find some real – world opportunities. I didn’t want to just sit around and wait, so I got my butt in gear and started doing some research.
I first thought about the industries that were booming. Tech was an obvious one. I mean, everyone’s talking about AI, right? So, I started following some tech blogs and YouTube channels. I watched a ton of videos, read countless articles, trying to figure out where the action was in the tech world. I even signed up for a few online courses on AI and machine learning, just to get a basic understanding.
But tech isn’t the only game in town. I also looked into the green energy sector. There’s a big push for clean energy these days, and I thought there might be some good opportunities there. I visited some local green energy companies, talked to the people working there. I asked them about their projects, what kind of skills they were looking for. It was really eye – opening. One guy told me that they were short on people who could manage large – scale solar projects.
After gathering all this information, I decided to focus on the AI side of things. I started working on some small AI projects on my own. I used open – source data and tools to build simple AI models. It was a lot of trial and error, but I learned a ton in the process. I joined some online AI communities, shared my work, and got feedback from other enthusiasts. This really helped me improve my skills.
As I got more confident, I started applying for internships in AI companies. It wasn’t easy. I got a bunch of rejections at first. But I didn’t give up. I kept tweaking my resume, practicing my interview skills. And finally, I landed an internship at a small but promising AI startup.
At the startup, I got to work on real – world projects. I was involved in data collection, model training, and even some basic deployment. It was hard work, but it was also really rewarding. I got to see how all the things I learned online actually worked in a professional setting.
Looking back at my journey in 2025, I realized that opportunities are out there, but you have to go out and look for them. You can’t just wait for them to come to you. You have to be proactive, learn new things, and take risks. And who knows, maybe one day, all this hard work will pay off big time!
