How I started
So yesterday I thought hey why not track that Spurs-Villa match properly since everyone kept asking me about key moments. Grabbed my laptop around halftime when we were losing 1-0. Opened up a blank Google Doc – yeah just plain text nothing fancy.

The annoying part
First I tried rewatching first half clips but Premier League kept buffering like crazy. Gave up around minute 48 when Kulusevski missed that sitter. Switched to BBC live text instead – that thing refreshes slower than my grandma’s flip phone. Spilled coffee all over my notes when Maddison scored our equalizer at 53′. Had to scribble on pizza box corners.
Where things got messy
Total chaos when Romero got that red card at 70′. Three different apps showed different timestamps. Twitter said 68′, FotMob showed 71′, Sky Sports app crashed completely. My phone battery died while checking Villa’s third goal replay. Borrowed my kid’s crayon to write “Son 87′” on the wall after he equalized – missus gonna kill me later.
How I fixed it
This morning I compared:
- My pizza box scribbles
- Phone screenshots I’d sent to mates
- Microwave clock photo from when I heated post-match snacks
Finally settled on:Villa goal 22′, Son miss 36′, Porro assist 53′, Romero red 69′, Bailey goal 73′, Son header 87′. Proofread twice before posting. Still think I messed up the injury time calculation though.
