Well, I’ve been to St James Park Stadium car park a few times, and I wanted to figure out the best time to use it. So, I started my little mission.
First off, I decided to go there on a regular weekend game day. I set off early in the morning, thinking I’d beat the rush. I drove through the streets, watching as other cars also seemed to be heading in the same direction. When I got to the car park, it was already getting pretty crowded. I circled around a few times, trying to find a spot. Finally, I managed to squeeze my car into a tight space. But the whole process took me about 20 minutes. During the game, I could hear the excited cheers from the stadium, and I was thinking about how much of a hassle it was to find a parking spot.
Next time, I thought I’d try a weekday non – game day. I drove there in the afternoon. When I pulled up to the car park, I was surprised. There were only a few cars there. I just drove straight in and picked a nice spot right near the entrance. It was so easy! I parked my car, got out, and walked around the stadium a bit. It was quiet, and I could really take in the view of the stadium without the chaos of a game day.
I also asked some of the regulars who work around the stadium. They told me that if you’re going on a game day, getting there at least two hours before the game starts gives you a good chance of finding a spot. But if you’re late, you’re in for a tough time. And on non – game days, any time is pretty good, but mornings are usually even quieter.
So, based on my experiences and the advice from the locals, I’d say the best time to use St James Park Stadium car park is on a non – game day. If it has to be a game day, then get there super early. That way, you won’t have to stress about finding a place to park your car and can just enjoy the game or the visit to the stadium.
