Seriously? Saw some accounts pretending to be “ITK insiders”. They all looked sketchy. Blocked three of ’em just to clean up my feed.
Remembered clubs sometimes post lineups early on their official socials. Went straight to Getafe’s Twitter feed. Latest post was about stadium snacks. Rayo Vallecano’s feed? Highlight reels from last season. Swore at the screen.
Dumb Myself Down

Scrolled past three ads just to see their “predicted lineup”. Looked made-up. Gutiérrez at right-back? He’s been injured for weeks! Closed that tab hard. Felt like my brain was melting.
Tried another site. Banner ad covered half the screen. Squinted at their predicted XI. Names looked mostly right, but no sources mentioned anywhere. Just a list. Useless. Almost threw my phone.
The “Aha!” Sorta Moment
Then it hit me. Checked footy news aggregators. Found one decent source – a proper football blog. They used phrases like “based on recent training” and “tactical patterns suggest“. Finally! Had names like Greenwood starting for Getafe, Falcao benched for Rayo. Made actual sense. Why didn’t I just go here first?
Saved that link. Felt like I’d won a tiny battle. But here’s the kicker:

- “Insider” accounts are 99% bull.
- Team socials post lineups 1 hour before kick-off. Not earlier.
The Real Advice? Follow the big team news guys on Twitter right when lineups drop. Everything else is guessing. Wasted two hours on what takes pros two minutes. Ended up eating cold pizza. What a life.
