Well, I first heard about ESSEs from a friend. He was all hyped up about it, saying it could make life a whole lot better. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

Step 1: Figuring Out What ESSEs Are
I started by doing some basic research. I googled it, read a few blogs, and watched some videos. From what I gathered, ESSEs are like these small, positive habits or actions that you can integrate into your daily routine. They’re supposed to bring more balance, joy, and efficiency to your life. For example, one ESSE could be taking a 10 – minute walk every morning to clear your head.
Step 2: Deciding on My ESSEs
I sat down and thought about what areas of my life could use some improvement. I realized I was spending too much time on my phone at night, which was affecting my sleep. So, one ESSE I decided on was to put my phone away an hour before bedtime. Another area was my diet. I was eating a lot of junk food. So, I committed to having a piece of fruit every day.
Step 3: Implementing the ESSEs

The first day was tough. When it was time to put my phone away, I felt this urge to just check one more thing. But I forced myself to turn it off and put it in another room. And when it came to having that piece of fruit, I had to remind myself a few times throughout the day. But as the days went by, it got easier. I started looking forward to that little break from my phone and actually enjoyed the taste of the fruit.
Step 4: Noticing the Benefits
After a couple of weeks, I started to see some real changes. I was sleeping better at night. I woke up feeling more refreshed and had more energy during the day. My skin also seemed to be looking better, probably because of the fruit. I was also more productive in the evenings since I wasn’t wasting time scrolling through my phone.
Step 5: Expanding My ESSEs
Encouraged by the results, I decided to add more ESSEs to my routine. I started doing 5 minutes of stretching when I woke up and writing down three things I was grateful for every night. These new ESSEs also started to have a positive impact on my life. I felt more flexible and in a better mood overall.
In conclusion, ESSEs have really changed my daily life for the better. They’re small steps, but they can lead to big improvements. According to some self – improvement experts, small, consistent habits are the key to long – term change. And from my own experience, I couldn’t agree more. So, if you’re looking to make your life better, give ESSEs a try!
