Since getting a ticket was looking tough and expensive, I started thinking about other ways to enjoy the game. The atmosphere in the city on a match day is still pretty electric, even if you’re not in the stadium.
I looked up sports bars near Parc des Princes. Found a few that specifically show PSG games. They usually have a great vibe, lots of fans, big screens. It’s not the same as being there, but it’s a solid backup plan. You get the crowd energy without the huge price tag.
I also checked if there were any public viewing events. Sometimes the city sets up big screens in fan zones for big matches. Didn’t find anything confirmed for this particular game, but it’s something I’ll keep an eye on closer to the date.
So yeah, that was my afternoon. Didn’t manage to snag a ticket, but I’ve got a couple of decent backup plans. Sometimes you just gotta roll with it.
