So I wanted those England fan celebration GIFs
Look, finding good GIFs of England fans going absolutely mental after a World Cup win? Not as easy as it sounds. I had this project needing a few, so I went digging. Started simple, like anyone would.
First, I just typed stuff like “England fans celebrate world cup gif” straight into the search bar. I mean, obvious right? Got tons of results… mostly awful clips from terrible angles or websites covered in adverts demanding I sign up. Absolute chaos. Felt messy.
Okay, Time to Get Specific
Realized being vague sucked. Needed to hit the good moments.
- Added specific players: Tried names like “Kane celebration gif” or “Bellingham fans gif”. Way better, actually found the guys but not always big crowd scenes.
- Tried different years: “England fans 1966 world cup gif” (old school vibes!), “England fans 2018 world cup gif” (semi-final run). Helped sort the eras.
- Used the word “reaction”: Like “England fans reaction world cup win gif”. This actually pulled some great crowd shots near the end!
Saw some sites dedicated just to moving pictures kept popping up. More reliable than the big search engines for actual download, less rubbish usually.
Played With Filters
Getting better, but still sifting junk. Figured I’d use the tools built into the sites.
- Clicked the “GIF” filter religiously on every search. Didn’t want videos clogging things.
- Sorted by “Most Recent” first. Sometimes found fresher, better quality stuff.
- Sorted by “Popular” too. People usually tag the good ones.
Started recognizing accounts that posted solid fan content. Followed one or two. Future stock!
Download and Done!
Found half a dozen crackers. Picked the best ones showing pure pandemonium – people jumping, hugging strangers, singing loud.
The trick? Find the sites made just for moving pictures, not random video sites. Searched specific moments with player names or years mixed with “fans gif” or “reaction gif”. Used those site filters hard. Found what I needed and downloaded straight away.
Done. Sorted.
