Well, I’ve always been into traveling, and Tenerife and Cadiz were on my bucket list. So, I decided to figure out the best time to visit these places.
I started by doing some basic research. I asked my friends who had been there before. One of my buddies said he went to Tenerife in the summer, and it was scorching hot. He said the sun was so strong that he got sunburned in just a couple of hours. Another friend went to Cadiz in the winter and said it was a bit chilly, but the crowds were way smaller.

They said the weather was warm, not too hot, and there were fewer tourists. For Cadiz, a lot of people recommended September and October. They said the sea was still warm, and the city was less crowded compared to the peak summer months.
I also looked at some weather websites. I saw that Tenerife has a pretty mild climate all year round, but it can get really humid in the summer. Cadiz, on the other hand, has more of a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters.
After all this research, I decided to plan my trip. I booked my flights and hotels for Tenerife in May and Cadiz in September. When I got to Tenerife, the weather was just perfect. The sun was shining, but it wasn’t too hot. I spent my days at the beach, swimming in the ocean, and trying out different water sports. The locals were super friendly, and the food was amazing.
Then, I headed to Cadiz. The moment I stepped off the plane, I could feel the warm breeze. The city was full of life, but not overly crowded. I walked around the old town, visited the museums, and sat at the cafes, sipping on some local wine. The sea was warm, and I even went for a few swims.
Looking back, I think I made the right decision. The weather in both places was great during the times I visited.
