Well, I decided to check out Pabellón Barris Nord myself. First, I did a bit of research on the internet, reading some reviews here and there. People seemed to have mixed opinions, which got me even more curious.
So, I hopped in my car and drove over to Pabellón Barris Nord. When I got there, I parked the car and walked towards the place. It looked kind of nice from the outside, with a modern – looking building and a decent – sized patio.
I walked inside and was greeted by a hostess. She showed me to a table. The place was pretty busy, which I thought was a good sign. I sat down and looked at the menu. There were all sorts of dishes that sounded interesting.
I decided to order their signature dish. The waiter took my order and went away. While waiting, I looked around the place. The decor was okay, not too fancy but not shabby either. There were some people chatting and having a good time.
After a while, my food came. I took a bite of the signature dish. The taste was… well, it was different. It had a unique flavor that I wasn’t quite used to. Some parts of it were really good, like the texture of one of the ingredients was just right. But other parts, I wasn’t so sure about. Maybe it was just an acquired taste.
I also ordered a drink. It was a local specialty. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I could tell it was made with fresh ingredients.
As I was eating, I started chatting with the couple at the next table. They were regulars here. They told me that they loved the place because of the friendly staff and the unique dishes. They said that they had tried a lot of different things on the menu and most of them were great.
After I finished my meal, I paid the bill. It wasn’t too expensive, which was a plus. I walked out of the place, still thinking about the food. I guess whether Pabellón Barris Nord is good or not really depends on your personal taste.
Some experts might say it’s amazing because of its innovation and use of local ingredients. But for me, it was an experience. I’m not sure if I’d go back right away, but I wouldn’t rule it out either. It’s one of those places that you have to try for yourself to make up your mind.
