Well, I’ve been into futsal for a while, and I decided to figure out what makes a great porteria for futsal. So, I started this whole process to find out these key features.

Starting the Search
I first headed to the local sports stores. I walked in, looked around, and asked the sales guy about futsal goalposts. He showed me a bunch of different ones. I started checking them out one by one. I picked up some, felt their weight, and looked at how they were built. I was trying to get a feel for what might work best.
Checking the Size
Then, I measured the space where I usually play futsal. I took out a tape measure and walked around the area. I knew the official size for a futsal goal is important, so I made sure to double – check the dimensions. I compared the sizes of the goalposts in the store with what I measured. Some were too big, some were too small, but I found a few that seemed to fit just right.
Testing the Durability
I started kicking the goalposts gently at first, then a bit harder. I wanted to see how well they could stand up to the impact of the ball. I also shook them a bit to check if they were stable. One of the goalposts wobbled a lot, so I crossed that one off my list. Another one seemed really solid, and it didn’t budge when I kicked it hard. I was starting to get an idea of what a durable goalpost should be like.
Looking at the Net
The net is super important too. I checked the mesh size of the nets on the goalposts. I ran my fingers through the net to feel its thickness. A thin net might tear easily, while a thick one could last longer. I also looked at how the net was attached to the goalpost. Some were just stapled on, which didn’t seem very secure, but others had a better fastening system.
Considering the Portability
I thought about how I’d need to move the goalpost around sometimes. So, I tried to take one of the goalposts apart. I followed the instructions and started unscrewing the parts. Some were a pain to take apart, with all these tiny screws that were hard to find. But one of them came apart easily and was light enough to carry. That was a big plus for me.

Making the Decision
After all this testing and checking, I finally found the goalpost that had all the features I was looking for. It was the right size, durable, had a good net, and was easy to move around. I bought it, took it home, and set it up in my playing area. And let me tell you, it made a huge difference in my futsal games!
So, that’s my experience of finding what makes a great porteria for futsal. It’s all about trying things out, seeing what works for you, and having a bit of fun in the process!
