Well, I started this whole thing by first getting really into following the football scene. I mean, I’ve always liked football, but this time I decided to focus on the match between CD Tenerife and FC Cartagena.

I began by gathering information. I checked out the local sports news, read a bunch of articles online. I was looking for any kind of details about the teams, like who were the star players, how they’ve been performing lately. I even watched some of their previous games on TV. You know, just to get a feel of how they play.
Then I started making notes. I jotted down things like the key players’ stats, their strengths and weaknesses. For example, if a player was really good at scoring goals from free – kicks, I’d mark that down. I also paid attention to the team’s formation in different games. I mean, how they line up on the field can make a huge difference.
I talked to some other football fans too. We had these long chats at the local pub, sharing our thoughts and predictions. Some of them had been following these teams for ages, so they had a lot of insights. One guy even told me about a player who was coming back from an injury and might have a big impact on the game.
As the game day got closer, I got more and more excited. I made sure I had everything ready to watch the game. I bought some snacks, cracked open a few beers, and settled in front of the TV. When the game finally started, I was glued to the screen. I watched every single move, cheering for the players I thought would shine.
After the game was over, I was still buzzing. I compared what actually happened with my notes and predictions. Some things went just as I thought, but there were also some surprises. Like a player who I didn’t expect to score ended up being the hero of the game.

Overall, it was a really fun experience. I learned a lot about these two teams and the game of football in general. And who knows, maybe next time I’ll be even better at predicting what’s going to happen!
