Well, I remember it clearly. I first got the chance to attend Europeada 2016. I was like, “Wow, this is gonna be something!”
I packed my bags and headed over there. When I arrived at the venue, there were so many people, all excited and chatting. I walked around, checking out the booths. I picked up some brochures, talked to a few vendors. It was like a whole new world there.
Then, the expert sessions started. I rushed to the first one. Sat down, took out my notebook, and got ready to listen. The experts were talking about all sorts of stuff, like new trends in the industry, cool projects they’d been working on. I was scribbling down notes like crazy, trying to catch every single word.
I asked a few questions during the Q&A sessions. It was a bit nerve – wracking at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun. I even had a little chat with one of the experts after the session. He gave me some really good tips, like where to look for more resources and how to approach certain problems.
I also attended some networking events. I shook hands with a bunch of people, exchanged business cards. Some of them were just starting out, like me, and some were old – timers in the field. We shared stories, had a few laughs, and who knows, maybe some of those connections will turn into something big in the future.
By the end of the event, I was exhausted but super excited. I had so much new knowledge in my head. I realized that there’s so much to learn from these kinds of events. It’s not just about the information, but also about the people you meet and the experiences you have.
