Alright so today I wanted to figure out the full squad list for Lombardia FC. I kept hearing about this team but couldn’t find a clean, updated roster anywhere online. Most sites had messy tables or outdated info.
Starting the search
First thing I did was open up my laptop and just type “Lombardia FC players” into the search bar. I got a bunch of news articles and fan pages, but nothing simple. I clicked on a few links, scrolled past tons of ads, and finally found what looked like an official club page.
The page was slow to load, and half the images were broken. I saw a “Squad” tab and clicked it. The list was there, but it only showed last season’s lineup. Useless.
Digging deeper
I decided to check social media instead. I went to the club’s official account. They had posted a “Meet the Squad” video a week ago. I watched it, but they flashed through the players so fast—I had to keep pausing and writing names down in my notes app. My hand was cramping up.
Then I remembered there’s this one football stats site I used before. I searched for Lombardia FC there, and bingo—they had the current roster, but it was mixed with youth team players. I had to filter by “First Team” manually. Took a few tries.
Putting it all together
Once I had the raw list, I copied everything into a spreadsheet. I noticed some positions were missing, so I cross-referenced with another sports site to fill the gaps. Made a few corrections—turns out they had a new goalkeeper I’d never heard of.

Finally, I organized the list by position: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards. Double-checked each name against the club’s latest match sheet from their most recent game. Done.
Here’s the current squad list I ended up with:
- Goalkeepers: Marco Rossi, Luca Bianchi, Enrico Conti
- Defenders: Alessandro Romano, Francesco Costa, Simone Galli, Diego Marino, Matteo Esposito
- Midfielders: Giovanni Rizzo, Antonio Moretti, Roberto De Santis, Federico Lombardi, Carlo Ferrari
- Forwards: Andrea Greco, Stefano Valli, Michele Colombo, Paolo Riva
It’s not perfect—teams change all the time—but this should be accurate as of this month. Took way longer than I thought it would. Maybe next time I’ll just wait for the official PDF.
