When I opened the first app, it wanted me to sign up. I filled in all my info, but then it asked for a credit card to subscribe. I wasn’t down for that. I closed it and moved on to the next one. This one was a bit better. It had a free trial, so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I searched for the Real Sociedad vs Betis game on the app. It took a while to load, and I was getting impatient. But finally, I found it. I clicked to start watching, and boom, there was some technical issue. The video was all pixelated, and the sound was out of sync. I was like, “Come on, man!”
I didn’t give up. I went back to my friend and asked if there were other ways. He told me about a local sports bar that always shows big games. I thought, “Why not?” I got dressed, hopped in my car, and drove to the bar.
When I got there, it was already packed with fans. I squeezed my way to the bar, ordered a drink, and found a spot in front of one of the big screens. And there it was, the game was on in all its glory! The atmosphere was electric, with people cheering and shouting. I had a blast watching the game with all these other fans.
Looking back, it was quite a journey to watch that game. Sometimes, the easy way doesn’t work out, but if you keep trying different things, you’ll eventually get what you want. Whether it’s through apps or going to a bar, there are always ways to catch the action.
