I’ve always been a big fan of Aston Villa, and I’ve been itching to get involved with the club somehow. So, I decided to look for job vacancies at Aston Villa. Here’s how I went about it.
Started with the Club’s Official Website
I first headed straight to Aston Villa’s official website. I clicked around the pages, looking for a ‘Careers’ or ‘Jobs’ section. I scrolled through the menus, hoping to find that golden link. And after a bit of searching, I finally found it. There were a few job openings listed there, mainly related to marketing, event management, and stadium operations. But I wanted more options, so I didn’t stop there.
Checked Job Aggregator Sites
Next, I went to some well – known job aggregator sites. I typed in ‘Aston Villa vacancies’ in the search bar. I hit ‘Enter’ and waited for the results to load. There were tons of listings popping up. Some were the same ones I saw on the club’s website, but there were also a few new ones. I started going through each listing, reading the job descriptions carefully. I noted down the ones that interested me and the application deadlines.
Looked into Social Media
Then, I thought, why not check social media? I went to LinkedIn first. I searched for Aston Villa and followed the club’s official page. I scrolled through their posts and found that they sometimes shared job openings there. I also joined some Aston Villa – related groups on LinkedIn. People in those groups would sometimes share insider information about new job opportunities. I also checked Twitter. I searched for hashtags like #AstonVillaJobs. There were a few tweets from the club and some recruitment agencies about job vacancies. It was like a treasure hunt, but I was finding some good leads.
Contacted Recruitment Agencies
I knew that some recruitment agencies specialized in sports – related jobs. So, I made a list of those agencies and started reaching out to them. I sent them an email, briefly introducing myself and telling them that I was interested in Aston Villa vacancies. I asked if they had any current openings or if they could keep me in mind for future ones. A few of them replied back, saying they’d let me know if something came up.
