So, I was sitting there, looking at the clock, and it was like, “Damn, it’s still far from 2:26!” I had this long wait ahead, and I knew I had to do something to make it less of a drag.
First off, I thought about just sitting around and doing nothing. But that’s boring as hell. So I decided to get up and move. I started pacing around my room, like a caged animal, but it actually helped me pass some time. I counted my steps, and I think I walked like a million miles in that small space. Okay, maybe not a million, but it felt like it.
Then, I remembered I had a deck of cards lying around. I shuffled them up and started playing solitaire. It’s one of those games that you can play by yourself, and it’s surprisingly addictive. I was so into it that I almost forgot about the time. But then I looked at the clock again, and it was only like 10 minutes later. Ugh!
I also tried listening to music. I put on my favorite playlist and started dancing around. It was a great way to let off some steam and make the time go by faster. I was singing along to the songs, even though I can’t sing for shit. But who cares, right?
After a while, I got hungry. So I went to the kitchen and made myself a sandwich. It was a simple turkey and cheese sandwich, but it tasted so good. While I was eating, I watched some random videos on my phone. It was a nice break from all the pacing and card-playing.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I looked at the clock again, and it was 2:26! I was so relieved. The wait was over, and I had managed to make it less boring by doing all those things. It just goes to show that when you have a long wait, you gotta find ways to keep yourself busy. Otherwise, you’ll go crazy!
