Hey, guys! I’ve been thinking about the finals ranks and whether they’re fair, so I decided to dig into the ranking system. First, I logged in to the game where these finals take place. I headed over to the leaderboard section to check out the current rankings.

I started by looking at the top players. I noticed that some of them had an insanely high number of wins. But then I realized that the number of games they played varied a lot. Some top – ranked players had played way more games than others. I wondered if that was fair. I mean, if you play more games, you have more chances to win, right?
Next, I dug deeper into the rules of the ranking system. I found out that the points you get for a win depend on the rank of your opponent. If you beat a high – ranked player, you get more points. But if you lose to a low – ranked player, you lose a bunch of points. I played a few games myself to test this out. I played against different – ranked opponents and kept track of how my rank changed.
I played a game against a much lower – ranked player and won. I expected to get a small number of points, and I was right. Then I played against a really high – ranked player and lost. Man, did I lose a ton of points! It made me think that maybe the system is a bit too harsh on losses.
I also talked to some other players. Some of them complained that the system didn’t take into account things like network issues. If you have a bad connection during a game, you’re likely to lose, but the system doesn’t care. It just drops your rank.
After spending a few days analyzing the system and talking to other players, I came to a conclusion. The finals ranks might not be entirely fair. The number of games played, network issues, and the harshness of point deductions for losses all seem to play a role in making the rankings a bit off. But hey, it’s a complex system, and maybe there’s no perfect way to rank players. What do you guys think? Do you agree with my findings?
