I was super hyped about getting tickets for the Spurs v Manu game. First off, I started by checking the official websites of both the Spurs and the league. I’m talking about constantly refreshing those pages, like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.
Then, I remembered a buddy who’s always in the know about sports tickets. I shot him a text right away, asking if he had any info on when the tickets would go on sale. He told me to keep an eye on the team’s social media accounts, so I started following them all over Twitter and Instagram.
Every few hours, I’d be scrolling through my feeds, looking for any hint of ticket sale news. I even set up notifications for the team pages, so I wouldn’t miss a thing. After what felt like an eternity, I managed to get into the ticket selection page. I quickly picked the seats I wanted, and went through the checkout process. My heart was pounding so hard, I thought it was gonna jump out of my chest. When I finally got the confirmation email, I let out a huge sigh of relief.
