Well, I started by looking at the players we’ve got in the Athletic Club. I mean, we’ve got a bunch of guys with different skills, right? So I first made a list of all the players available for this game against Sevilla FC. I jotted down their names, their usual positions, and what they’re good at.
Then, I thought about the Sevilla FC team. I watched some of their recent games. I noticed how they play, their strong points, and their weak spots. I was like, “Okay, we gotta figure out how to take advantage of their weaknesses and defend against their strengths.”
Next, I started to pick players for different positions. For the goalie, I went with the guy who’s been making the most saves lately. I mean, we don’t want the other team scoring easily, right?
For the defense, I chose the players who are tough and can stop the Sevilla players from getting through. I put them in positions where they can cover the areas where Sevilla likes to attack.
In the midfield, I wanted players who can pass the ball well and control the game. I picked guys who are good at both offense and defense. They gotta be able to switch between helping the attack and getting back to defend.
Up front, for the strikers, I went for the ones with the most goals. They gotta be quick and good at scoring when they get the chance. I put them in positions where they can get the ball and have a clear shot at the goal.
After I had a first draft of the line – up, I talked to some of the players. I asked them how they felt about the positions I’d put them in. Some of them had good ideas too, like “I think I can do better here” or “This guy might be better in that spot.”
So I made some changes based on what they said. I adjusted a few positions and swapped a couple of players around. Then I showed the new line – up to the coach. He gave me some feedback, and I made a few more small changes.
Finally, I got the final line – up. I was pretty excited to see how it would work in the game. I mean, we’ve got a good mix of players, and I think we’ve got a chance to beat Sevilla FC with this line – up. We’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out on the field!
