I decided to try out this “vision duck” thing on a whim. First, I went to the local market to look for materials. I rummaged through the stalls, asking around for stuff that might be useful for this project. There were all kinds of things, like old fabrics, small pieces of wood, and some colored paper.
After getting the materials, I took them back home. I started by cleaning up the wood pieces. I used a little sandpaper to smooth the rough edges. It was a bit of a hassle, but I managed to get them looking okay. Then, I thought about the shape of the duck. I wanted it to have a cool and unique look, so I started sketching on a piece of paper.
Once I had a rough idea of the design, I began to cut the wood according to the shape. It was hard work, and my hands were a bit sore from using the saw. But I kept going. After cutting the main parts, I used some glue to stick them together. The glue smelled really bad, but it did the job.
Next, it was time to add some color. I took the colored paper and cut it into small pieces. I pasted the paper on the duck to make it look more lively. It was like giving it a new outfit. I also added some small buttons for the eyes, which made it look kind of funny.
After all that, I stepped back to take a look at my “vision duck”. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. I was really happy with what I had made. It was a great experience, and I learned that with a little effort and creativity, you can make something cool out of nothing.
