Well, I’ve always been a big fan of Newcastle United Football Club (NUFC), and I’ve been on a mission to find the best NUFC book. So, I started my journey by hitting up the local bookstores. I walked in, looked around, and started grabbing any NUFC – related books I could find. I mean, there were quite a few on the shelves, but I had no idea which one was gonna be the best.

I picked up the first book, flipped through the pages, and started reading a bit. It was okay, but it seemed a bit too focused on just the recent seasons. I wanted something that covered the club’s whole history. So, I put that one back on the shelf and moved on to the next one.
I grabbed another book, and this time, it was full of old photos. That was cool, but the text was a bit dry. It felt like I was reading a history textbook rather than a fun story about my favorite club. I kept going, pulling books off the shelves, skimming through them, and trying to figure out what each one was all about.
Then, I decided to ask the bookstore clerk. I walked up to him and said, “Hey, do you know which NUFC book is the best?” He scratched his head for a bit and then recommended one that he said was a fan – favorite. I took his advice and added that one to my pile.
After spending a couple of hours in the bookstore, I ended up with about five books. I took them home and started reading them one by one. I sat on my couch, got comfortable, and dived into the first book. As I read, I made notes about what I liked and what I didn’t like. For example, one book had a really funny way of telling the stories of the players, but it didn’t have much about the club’s financial side.
I continued this process with all the books. I compared the stories, the details, and the writing styles. Some books were more focused on the on – field action, while others delved into the off – field drama. I even asked some of my NUFC – loving friends what they thought of the books I was reading.

After a few days of reading and comparing, I finally found what I thought was the best NUFC book. It had a great balance of history, player stories, and club politics. It was written in a way that made me feel like I was right there at the stadium, experiencing all the highs and lows with the team.
So, that’s my story of finding the best NUFC book. It was a bit of a hassle, but it was totally worth it in the end. Now, I’ve got a great book to read whenever I want to relive the glory days of Newcastle United!
