Well, I’ve always been a big fan of collecting trophies. And I had this plain old trophy display case that was just sitting there, looking kinda boring. So, I decided to spruce it up a bit. Here’s how I did it.

First off, I cleaned the display case from top to bottom. I took out all the trophies, wiped down the shelves with a damp cloth, and then dried them off. I also cleaned the glass, making sure there were no smudges or fingerprints. It was amazing how much of a difference a clean case made.
Next, I thought about the layout. I didn’t want to just throw all the trophies back in randomly. I started by sorting them into different categories. I had sports trophies, academic trophies, and some from other random events. Then, I arranged them on the shelves. I put the biggest and most important ones in the center and at the front, so they’d be the first thing you’d see. The smaller ones went in the back and on the sides.
To add some color, I bought some fake grass and small plants from the dollar store. I placed the fake grass on the shelves, kind of like a little green carpet for the trophies. The small plants went in the corners, giving it a more natural look. It was like creating a little trophy ecosystem!
I also found some string lights at a garage sale. I hung them around the inside edges of the display case. When I turned them on, it gave the whole thing a warm, cozy glow. It made the trophies look even more special.
For a personal touch, I printed out some pictures of me with the trophies. I cut them into small squares and taped them to the back of the glass, behind the trophies. It was a great way to remember the moments when I won them.
Finally, I added a few decorative items. I had a little plastic medal stand that I put on one of the shelves. And I found a small figurine that matched the theme of one of the trophies and placed it next to it. It just made the whole display more interesting.
After all that work, I have to say, the trophy display case looks awesome! It’s gone from a plain old case to a really cool showcase of my achievements. And every time I look at it, I feel proud of myself. So, if you have a trophy display case that needs some love, give these ideas a try!
