Finally spotted a small heading saying something like “Current League Positions”. Prayed it wasn’t another dead end.
Scanned down. Row after row of teams, points, goal difference… skimmed for Portsmouth first. Found them mid-table. Looked up for Coventry… hmmm. Scanned again. Found them a couple of spots higher.
Felt like a tiny win, honestly. Took longer than grabbing a coffee.

So, here’s the thing. Seeing Pompey hovering around 10th place? Expected them to be maybe higher. Coventry near 6th? Bit higher than I thought. But leagues are messy. One bad weekend and you plummet, a couple wins and you shoot up. Didn’t see any massive gap, just steady for now.
Truth? I barely remember the exact numbers this morning. Was it 13 points for Pompey? 16 for Coventry? Honestly, blurry now. But the feeling stuck.
