So this morning I was trying to make sense of how Bodø/Glimt performed against S.S. Lazio last night. Started by googling match stats cause the final score alone doesn’t tell you squat. Like, who actually dominated? Were they just lucky? Needed the real tea.

Step 1: Hunting Down Reliable Stats
First thing – UEFA’s site is a maze. Like trying to find a light switch in a dark room. Typed “Bodø/Glimt vs Lazio stats” straight into Google instead. Saw three sites popping up claiming live stats. Clicked the first one… full of auto-play ads. Closed that garbage faster than you can say “serie a”.
Tried another site. This one looked cleaner but wanted email for “full access”. Nah. Finally landed on a decent stats page after scrolling past four promoted betting sites. Why they gotta bury actual info?
Step 2: Making Sense of the Numbers
Scanned through the mess:

- Final score slapped right top: 2-0 Lazio. Ouch for Bodø fans.
- Searched for shots on target. Bodø/Glimt had like 4 shots on goal outta 12 total attempts. Not terrible.
- Lazio? 6 on target from 15 shots. So actually pretty even attempts-wise.
- Here’s the kicker: Bodø’s keeper made 4 saves. Lazio’s dude only needed 2 saves. Explains the score right there.
Also noticed possession was nearly 50-50. Expected Lazio to hog the ball way more honestly. Yellow cards? Three for each side. Absolute scrap fest.
Why Bother?
The whole thing took me 15 annoying minutes. Why’s football stats so scattered? If you just read “2-0 win”, you’d think Lazio stomped them. Reality? Bodø had chances but couldn’t finish. Stats don’t lie (when you finally find real ones). Shouldn’t be this hard to see who actually tried playing football.
