Scrolled faster. 45th minute – Lewandowski hits the crossbar! Phone almost slipped out my hand. Relief came half through the second half – Ferran Torres equalizes! But then… chaos. Minute 89, Atalanta sneaks another one in. Absolute gut punch.
Checked the stats section. Numbers don’t lie, right? Barcelona had way more of everything:
- Shots: Like twenty something, only five on target. Five!
- Corners: Double digits, nothing came from it.
- Possession: Seventy percent and what? Lost.
Stats screamed domination but the final score screamed robbery.
Went back to the timeline. Saw that Messi chance right at the end… hit the post? I mean, you gotta laugh or you’ll cry. That one moment, inches away, decides everything. Ref blows the whistle, 2-1 Atalanta. Closed the app feeling annoyed. Seventy percent possession and nothing to show for it. Typical frustrating game. Just sat there for five minutes thinking how they managed to lose that. Need a coffee now.
