Alright so today I decided to dig into the historical stats between Mallorca and Barcelona. I’ve always been curious about how these two teams match up, especially since the results can be so unpredictable sometimes.

First thing I did was fire up my laptop and open a few tabs. I knew I needed to find a reliable source for match data, so I started with some big sports stats websites. I typed in “Mallorca vs Barcelona head to head” and scanned the results.
Man, sorting through all that data was a bit of a chore. The websites had stats everywhere—league matches, cup matches, goals scored, you name it. I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down the key numbers. I wanted to see the total matches played, wins for each side, draws, and goals.
Once I had all the numbers, I noticed a pretty clear pattern. Barcelona has dominated most of the meetings, which wasn’t a huge surprise. But what caught my eye was how many draws there have been recently. Mallorca has managed to hold them to a tie quite a few times, especially at their home stadium.
I decided to make a simple list to see the trend better:
- Total Matches: Way more than I thought
- Barcelona Wins: A whole lot
- Mallorca Wins: Just a handful, but some really memorable ones
- Draws: More and more in the last few seasons
After putting it all together, it made sense. Barcelona is usually the stronger team, but Mallorca can be a tough opponent, especially when they play at home. They’ve pulled off some surprises over the years.

So that’s what I learned today. It was fun going through the history and seeing how the rivalry has played out. Definitely gives you a different perspective when you watch their next match.
