Weight Loss Recipes to Help You Make Healthier Choices

    • Crispy Potato Skin (appetizer)

Ingredients: 2 medium-sized whole potatoes, butter-flavored cooking spray, 1 tbsp rosemary herb and ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper.

Method: Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Take the potatoes, wash them clean and prick them with a fork before putting them in the oven. Bake till the skin become crunchy and crispy. Allow the potatoes to cool and then cut them into halves before scooping the pulp out from the center leaving some along with the skin. Now, spray the potatoes with the butter flavored spray, sprinkle some rosemary and grounded pepper and put them back in the oven for another 5 to 7 minutes. You are ready to eat them hot and fresh.

    • Pumpkin Soup (Soup)

Ingredients: 1 cup of pure drinking water, 1 finely sliced fresh onion, 1 finely sliced green onion, 1 can of pumpkin puree, 1 cup of vegetable broth, ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, 1 cup of fat-free milk, and 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper.

Method: Take a large saucepan and pour ¼ cup of water into it. Mix onion slices in the water and put it to boil until it becomes tender. Do not let the onions dry out. Now add pumpkin puree, vegetable broth, cinnamon, nutmeg and remaining water into the saucepan. Put it in light heat and boil for around 5 minutes. Now add the milk and stir it thoroughly. Cook it to heat. Now garnish it using pepper and green onion and drink it hot.

    • Broiled fish with spinach (meal)

Ingredients: fish fillets, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, ¼ tsp salt-free herbed seasoning and ground black pepper as per preference.

Method: Apply some cooking oil on baking pan and put the fillets into the pan. Then sprinkle the lemon juice on the fillets. Now delicately add garlic, herbed seasoning mix and pepper as well. Broil it for 8 to 10 minutes till it becomes tender and eat hot.
