Okay, so I had this idea to make a t-shirt for makeup artists. I’ve seen some online, but I wanted something… more. Something that really speaks to me, you know?
First, I brainstormed. What words and images come to mind when I think “makeup artist”? I scribbled down a bunch of stuff:
- Brushes
- Palettes
- “Blend”
- “Contour”
- “Highlight”
- “Makeup is my art”
- “Lashes for days”
- Maybe a sassy saying?
I looked around online for inspiration, to see. and found all over the place. I sketched a few things out in my notebook.
Then I played around to arrange things.I moved the text around, resized the images, and tried different color combinations. It took a few tries, I will changed and changed again, but finally, I had something I liked!
I created a simple design featuring some crossed makeup brushes and the words “Makeup Artist” in a cool, slightly edgy font. It’s simple, but it gets the point across.
It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And that’s what matters, right? It’s all about the journey, the process of creating something from nothing. I’m happy what I had done.
