Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Kylie Weeks” thing popping up all over my feed, and I finally caved. I’m a sucker for a good fitness challenge, so I decided to give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.
Week 1: Getting My Butt in Gear
First things first, I had to figure out what this even was. Turns out, it’s a workout program, pretty intense, focusing on different muscle groups each day. I found some workout routines and printed out. I dusted off my yoga mat and grabbed my old dumbbells. I gotta admit, I was feeling a little intimidated.
- Monday: Legs and abs. Holy moly, the squats! I felt like my legs were going to fall off.
- Tuesday: Upper body. I did a load of push-ups (modified, of course, I’m not a superhero) and some bicep curls.
- Wednesday: Active recovery. This meant a long walk. Thank goodness for a break!
- Thursday: Back to legs and abs. Ugh, more squats. But I pushed through!
- Friday: Arms and shoulders again. Starting to feel a little stronger.
- Saturday & Sunday Rest days. I did some gentle stretching.
By the end of the week, I was SORE. Like, really sore. But I also felt pretty good. Accomplished, you know?
Week 2: Finding My Rhythm
Week two rolled around, and I felt a bit more prepared. My body was still aching, but I knew what to expect. I actually started to enjoy the routine of it all.
I did pretty much the same exercises, but I tried to increase the reps or the weight a little bit each time. It’s tough, but it’s supposed to be, right? Also,I make sure I’m eating enough protein. I’ve heard that helps with muscle recovery, and honestly, anything to reduce the soreness is welcome!
Week 3: I added one more group exercise
I realized that doing exercises by myself every day was a bit boring, so I decided to join a group exercise class. Although it was very tiring, I felt the atmosphere was very good. I also plan to join every week.
Week 4: Keep Going
I’m not gonna lie, some days are harder than others. There are days when I really don’t want to work out. But I keep reminding myself why I started – to feel stronger and healthier.I will not give up.I will Stick to it.
So, that’s my “Kylie Weeks” experience so far. It’s tough, but it’s rewarding. If you’re thinking about giving this a shot, make sure you do some research to make sure it’s right for you, maybe modify it to your own fitness level, and just, you know, listen to your body. Good luck!
