Okay, so I’ve been eyeing the Frankie Shop Bea pants for, like, forever. I finally decided to go for them, and let me tell you, the whole process was a bit of a journey. So, I’m gonna break down my entire experience for anyone else thinking about getting these.
Finding My Size
First things first, I had to figure out my size. I’m usually, like, a pretty standard size, but I’d heard these run a bit weird. Some reviews were saying to size up, some down…it was a mess! So, I started by carefully measuring my waist and hips.
I compared my measurements to Frankie Shop’s size chart. This took a bit of back-and-forth because I was, like, right between two sizes. Ugh, the worst!
Ordering and Waiting
After, like, an hour of debating (seriously, I was so indecisive!), I finally just picked a size and placed the order. I went with the size that was a bit bigger, figuring I could always get them altered if they were too loose. Better safe than sorry, right?
Then came the waiting… I’m pretty impatient, so refreshing the tracking page every five minutes became my new hobby. It felt like forever, but they finally arrived!
The First Try-On
I ripped open the package (carefully, of course) and pulled out the pants. They looked amazing – the material felt so nice and thick. I slipped them on…and… they were kinda big. Not, like, huge, but definitely looser than I wanted.
I wasn’t too surprised, since I sized up. I pinned them in a few places to see how they’d look if they fit properly. That’s when I knew, I definitely needed some alterations. And decided that is the better choice.
Getting Altered (or Not!)
I get them altered.
- Looked for a local tailor.
- I brought the pants in, explained what I wanted, and they pinned them up.
- Picked them up a week later.
They fit perfectly! So happy with how they turned out.
I’ve worn them, like, a million times since, and I am obsessed. The Bea pants are such a classic, and I feel amazing in them! Totally worth the whole sizing saga and waiting.
