First, I hit up Google. You know, the usual – typing in “Katy Perry Robert Pattinson dating” and seeing what popped up. I scrolled through a bunch of articles, some old, some newer, trying to piece together a timeline.
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of fan forums. Let me tell you, people have opinions on this! I spent a good hour just reading different theories and supposed “evidence” of them being together.

I tried to find interviews where they talked about each other. I found some, and it sounds pretty much the same. They are friends.
After all that, I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on the situation.
